The State Library of Kansas is discontinuing its agreement with RBdigital and will move all available licensed audiobooks to bibliotheca’s cloudLibrary platform on December 2, 2020.
You will need a Kansas Library ecard to borrow materials in cloudLibrary. It’s still free to get a card and there is no separate registration to access the collection. If you do not have a Kansas eCard, apply in person at the Leavenworth Public Library or apply for one online.
Your RBdigital personal data plus any holds you have placed will be deleted on Dec. 2. However, you can transfer your personal information to your cloudLibrary account before the deadline. Check out a tutorial on how to use the new platform and transfer your personal data.
In order to better meet patron demand for popular titles, and reduce hold wait times, audiobooks on cloudLibrary will be available for two-week loan periods.
