Library Giving Day

National Library Giving Day on April 23 is a quick and easy way to support the Leavenworth Public Library. We plan to use National Library Giving Day donations to grow our digital collection. During the shelter-in-place order, we have seen a significant increase in the use of the Library’s digital content; in 2019, we saw a 25 percent increase in demand for digital content. We will also use the donations to expand our early literacy outreach programs and activities.

The Northeast Kansas Library System Foundation is the clearing house for National Library Giving Day donations made to our Library and they will provide receipts for tax purposes. The site is secure and you can choose any amount you wish. The impact of your generosity can be multiplied if your company has a matching program. You can set up a planned gift to provide regular donations.

The Foundation uses Stripe to process credit card transactions. Stripe is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. You can learn more about Stripe at https://stripe.com/. Donor names are not added to mailing lists and donors will not be solicited in any way. Donations can also be made anonymously.
