Music is and always been an integral part of sociopolitical movements, and it was especially so in the mid-20th century. Learn about the role that musicians and their music played during turbulent times in our country, with samples of protest songs from the antiwar and Civil Rights movement in each decade from the 1940s to the 1970s. Presented by Jenzi Silverman, Ph.D., ATCL, University of Minnesota Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
