The Library is planning digital literacy classes designed to help patrons navigate the internet, learn basic word processing and spreadsheet software and other basic computer skills. The adult literacy plan also includes recruiting volunteer tutors who will help adults learn to read or improve their reading skills.
Our first series of classes was A Date with Lynda: Intro to Online Learning. Lynda.com offers courses for business, software, technology and creative skills to help people achieve personal and professional goals. Access is free with a library card.
