In January and February 2017, the Library surveyed nineteen different groups, including Leavenworth service and civic organizations, library users, library support organizations and City officials. We asked each group how the Library could best serve our community. 405 residents responded and their top choice was to Create Young Readers. Their second choice was Family Literacy. The Library prioritized services, budgets, programs and other activities around those choices for the next three years. Below are specific efforts we
are introducing in 2018. For more details, read the Library's full Strategic Plan 2018-2021.
