2024 Summer Reading Program
For Kids
Summer Reading Challenge | June 1 – July 31 | PreK to Teens
Parents: See a staff member to register and pick up a reading challenge form and Summer Reading goody bag for each child.
Kids: Complete all of the activities on the form, have your parent or guardian sign it and turn in to the Library by noon on Wednesday, July 31 to enter the Grand Prize drawing for one of three Nintendo Switches. Drawing will be held after the final program on July 31.
New Activities Every Week!
Check our calendar for all of the adventures we have planned in June and July. Registration is required for each special program; we will also have prize drawings for each age group at the end of each program.
Take and make craft kits will be available at the Children’s desk.
For Adults
Adventure Begins Review Challenge | June 1 – July 31 | Adults age 18 and older
- Rate and review the books, movies and music you are reading, watching and listening to this summer.
- Prize awarded for first review turned in.
- For each additional review, participant will receive an entry for the Grand Prize, a $250 VISA gift card.
- Pick up review forms in the Library or submit them online here beginning June 1.
One Book, Many Neighbors | June 1 – July 28 | Adults age 18 and older
Join us for an intriguing, often puzzling journey to seven area libraries for programs inspired by the short story collection Marple: Twelve New Mysteries. Gather clues at each library’s program to eliminate suspects in a crime. See
a staff member to register and how to access the book, and a passport to all of the programs.
