Library Giving Day

National Library Giving Day on April 7, 2021 is a quick and easy way to support the Leavenworth Public Library. We will use National Library Giving Day donations to grow our digital collection. During the past year, we have seen a significant increase in the use of the Library’s digital content. Demand skyrocketed as the pandemic closed down the country. However, the Library’s digital content use had already been growing rapidly for the past several years.

  • Kanopy: Launched in March 2020. 772 films borrowed by the end of the year.

The Northeast Kansas Library System Foundation is the clearing house for National Library Giving Day donations made to our Library and they will provide receipts for tax purposes. The site is secure and you can choose any amount you wish. The impact of your generosity can be multiplied if your company has a matching program. You can set up a planned gift to provide regular donations.

The Foundation uses Stripe to process credit card transactions. Stripe is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. You can learn more about Stripe at Donor names are not added to mailing lists and donors will not be solicited in any way. Donations can also be made anonymously.
