2026 Summer Reading Program

The Value of the Library’s Summer Reading Program

Studies show that access to books in summer prevents a drastic loss in reading skills, especially for kids in need. Summer reading programs encourage children and teens (as well as adults) to read for fun to prevent summer learning loss. We encourage everyone to visit the library and take part in our fun, no-cost activities for all ages, from babies to adults.
