Requirements for Android devices as of April 15, 2024
OverDrive is discontinuing support for Android operating systems (OS) 7.1.0 and earlier. After April 15, impacted Kanopy users will see a message indicating that their OS is no longer compatible, with a prompt to update, if possible.
Kanopy Instructions
Starting November 1, 2023, the viewing experience on Kanopy will be easier than ever with the switch from play credits to tickets. With this update, you’ll get 12 tickets per month from the Leavenworth Public Library. You can watch as many titles as the ticket limit allows. From a title’s details page, you will be able to easily see how many tickets are required and how long you’ll have to watch it before pressing play. Kanopy Kids does not require any tickets. - Create a Kanopy account
- Start watching videos!
To set up the app:
- Click Get Started

- Enter Library Card Number
- Enter Library Card Password
- Create Your Account
